2011 marked the twelth year of the wildly successful Kingston Trio Fantasy Camp. In 2012, the Camp will focus again on a commitment to having fun and playing the
music that we all love.
The Camp runs for four days. There will be camper Trio workshops conducted by the Kingston Trio, and the Trio will also be rehearsing with
the soloists. Campers will enjoy a welcoming Dinner and a mini concert by the Kingston Trio with Bob Shane, followed by a group concert. Then, there
will be three nights of performances by the Campers and, on Saturday night after the last show, a wrap party.
Continuing with us will be longtime staff members Dave Batti, Tom DeLisle, Tom Lamb, Pete Bentley, Art Faller and Paul Rybolt.
And did we mention special surprises? How about surprise guests? You never know who will show up at Fantasy Camp. Past Camps have featured
visits from artists like Travis Edmondson, Henry Diltz, Jim Connor, Josh White Jr., Chip Douglas, Bill Mumy and Al Jardine
Wait a minute! You say you can't play a guitar or sing?
IT DOESN'T MATTER!
Some of our happiest and most successful Campers couldn't play an instrument and only sing in the shower. They just got on stage
anyway and came away smiling ear to ear. If you have ever sung along to your favorite Kingston Trio song on the
radio, you can be a Camper. You will be backed up by the best musicians we know and also the nicest guys. The emphasis at this Fantasy Camp is fun, fun, and
more fun.
The cost for the Camp will be $3,200. The fee includes four nights lodging at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort, a welcome
dinner, workshops, Kingston Trio striped shirt and assorted swag, a fabulous wrap party along with all the music you can sing and play.
A $1,000 deposit is payable with your reservation for Kingston Trio Fantasy Camp XIII and due by 2/1/2012. A second payment of $1,000 is due by 4/1/2012.
The balance of $1,200 is due by 7/1/2012. Travel expenses and meals are not included.
